He is also advisor to the data science master's program at GalvanizeU in San Francisco.

His contributions have been recognized through a number of awards including the “Life Source” award, an award given each year deemed most high-impact in saving lives. Vitaly holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and an MBA from the Israeli Institute of Technology.

Dr. Arno Candel is the CTO at H2O.ai, the makers of the distributed and scalable open-source machine-learning platform H2O. Arno is also the main author of H2O’s Deep Learning and key contributor to H2O's GBM and DRF algorithms. Arno spent the last 5+ years designing and implementing high-performance machine-learning algorithms.
